What it's 2013 already! Time flies and guess what I forgot about this blog site! Kids are growing and this is the year Alexis and I will both graduate from school.

Summer time!

Wow, the summer is almost over! Alexis has been working at the school through a youth work program. She cleans desks, chairs, and lockers Mon-Thurs from 9-12. She hates the work but loves the paycheck! (welcome to the real world) She attended a Switch Foot concert at the Sonshine festival with a youth group. She loved it and wants to go next year and camp for the whole weekend. Tyler has been hanging out with his friends. He put an ad in the paper to look for work, he will be starting some yard work in town for a gentleman to earn some $$. He's going to Ridgewater Fun Camp this week as long he stays healthy. Caleb turned 7 on July 12th! He's learned how to ride go-kart and 4-wheeler all by himself, he can't get enough of it. Leif comes to visit every other week. He learned to drive the go-kart too! He is a very cautious driver. Caleb & Leif have been attending Club 218. They play ball, do crafts, eat meals, sing, read, and have lots of FUN. Last week they went bowling with the Club! Next month they will start swimming lessons. Kamaya turned 1 on June 28 and was baptized all on the same day! She is growing and learning so quickly! Tom & I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary on June 7th! I've been working instead of staying home for summer vacation, taking applications for new students this fall. Tom has been working on go-karts, 4-wheelers, and dirt bikes all summer. Our family is growing so fast and I sure wish there was more time in a day/week/month/year!

Sorry it's been so long

Well, winter sports are ending and children are growing up way to fast! Leif turned 6 on Valentine's day, we had fun at Chuck E. Cheese.
Caleb had his first wrestling meet at the Hutch Open and got a 4th place trophy.

Alexis turned 14 and had a party at home with friends.
Tyler is working hard at his grades to get on the A honor roll and still looking for a sport he loves.
Kamaya is crawling and walking around on the furniture.
Tom & I are running around being crazy parents.

Gotta love MN winters!!!

Well it's been a very chilly week. School has been 2 hours late and even cancelled one day. The wind chills made the temperature get down to -30s. Crazy MN winters! Brrrrrrrrrrr! Hope you all are staying warm.

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We spent 3 different days celebrating and eating with family. Everyone is changing and growing, as I age and am not the child anymore. Hope the new year will let you remember the memories of 2008! Let the new year of 2009 help you create new and lasting memories. Love ya all!

Growing up too fast!!

Alexis(8th) & Tyler(7th) attend the Hutch Middle school. Caleb is in the 1st grade at Hutch's West elementary. Leif is in Kindergarten at Washington school in Owatonna. Kamaya is too little to go to school.

Alexis (#13)plays Junior Varsity Ice Hockey for the Hutch High school Tigers. She scored her 1st hat trick (which is 3 goals in a game)last week. Wuuuu-hooo!

Alexis and Tyler attend confirmation classes on Sundays & Wednesdays. (Alexis will get confirmed next year) They also go to Campus Life on Tuesdays nights which, is a christian youth group. They love going to play crazy games that teach them about life choices and Christianity.

Tyler has made the B honor roll for 1st trimester. Alright! He is trying wrestling for the first year too. He is still trying for a pin. (which means you win the match) He also bowls on a league on Saturdays. His high score is 168 so far this year.
Caleb is trying wrestling this year too. It lets him get out all his energy and then crashes at the end of the night. He excels in school academics with reading being his strongest subject. He loves reading chapter books.

Caleb & Leif go to Sunday school too. They have been practicing for their Christmas play & songs. They will be performing on Sunday. Leif is one of the wisemen to bring baby Jesus a gift of gold.
Leif likes school and loves to teach us about what he has learned. He loves talking and playing with his baby sister too.

Kamaya is growing fast! :( She is rolling over and eating real food now. She has learned how to sit on her own for a few minutes too. She is such a happy girl!
